The filming of this video was a very memorable experience to me. Most of my friends ended up as my teammates and so we quickly planned when and what to film. Talking to my friend—from another class—we realized we were both assigned to Abucay, so we quickly made plans to align our filming together. I started my day with waking up early as I need to commute to Abucay. When I got there John Novera (JJ) was at Abucay Plaza and my friend Chezarina De Guzman (Cat) who lived very close started walking towards our meeting place, Puregold. After a few minutes of waiting my other teammate Arkinch Du (Johann) showed up. We faced a difficult dilemma my other teammate Andrea Caracas (CJ) was terribly late we are forced to wait and waste time or start filming, and so we started filming.We started at Tomas Pinpin Memorial Elementary School then we went to Santo Domingo Parish Church after that we wanted to rest at the plaza. Suddenly my phone rang, a call from CJ telling me that they were in Abucay and that they don't know where to go. So I decided to run towards CJ from the plaza to Puregold and running back to my friends. We started filming at the old municipality of Abucay. After that we walked to Hoffman Academy and it just so happens that this was near the house of my other friend, Gerard Ursolum (TG) so I wanted to contact him but it was revealed that he was asleep by that time. So we went to Bonifacio Camacho Highschool we filmed and decided to go to the new Municipality of Abucay halfway I realize I lost my umbrella so I went back for it. After going back to my friends we realized how tired we were and wanted to tricycle there.On our way we spotted the fair and I started hatching plans on inviting them to join me. At the municipality in need of water I spent 50 pesos for two bottles and we filmed in the blazing heat of the sun. Afterwards we wanted to satiate our hunger and decided on eating on Saverde. While talking we realized we missed a few parts. So we went back to the church. We even saw the most peculiar thing on our way a car driving on reverse. afterwards we went to the cemetery beside the church we started filming again after that JJ needed to gert home. Cat suddenly told me about a place called Bacood. Initially I was like what a cool idea and I even invited TG along but he needed to get a haircut, so me, Cat, Cj, and Johann started our adventure.Starting off we were already a little tired we barely had any time to rest but we were fueled by food, and a promise from Cat's father that by the end of the journey the lighthouse will be our reward. We walked and walked then we came to a halt we realized that there was no direct path to the lighthouse we needed to go through trees and branches that poke. We tried going through yet came to a halt when we need to cross through the edge of the cement sealing the water. One wrong step and off you’ll fall down the drain. At this point Cj and Johann decided on staying at the opening of the place silently waiting. Me and Cat persevered we left our bags with them and we went forth. At times we thought that there was no path blocked off by spiders and tall grass but we always found another way in the end we were greeted.. by nothing. The “path” was not a path it curved to continue on to the city. What we saw was the lighthouse far away the water becoming a barrier between us.After that we went back to Cj and Johann after we told them about the news we decided on staying at Cat’s house. The journey was not just a journey it was a challenge. We were dehydrated, tired, and we just wanted to rest. Bacood was a place isolated from the city. There were no stores and each step was. us walking as if drunk. Suddenly we saw a store all of us lit up and asked for water. They didn’t serve water what they have was juice. I don’t remember what juice it was what I remembered was how bad it tasted but at that day I didn’t care I was just grateful that I could drink something.Halfway through our journey we saw a tricycle we hurriedly decided on just hitching a ride. Suddenly I saw a remark from Cj pure frustration and despair. They left their water bottle at the store. Cat decided on getting a tricycle to go back and go to their house while the three of us went directly to their house. As soon as we get their we took a seat. Waiting for Cat we reviewed the footage we got and after a few minutes Cat finally arrived and then Tg showed up. We chatted and soon after Johann needed to go home so we went to the plaza took some videos and sent him home. Tg went home wanting to do some petas and the three of us went back to Cat’s house.But suddenly I remembered the fair that opened in abucay. I hurriedly invited Cat, Cj and Tg again. We went and got food by the street and when we were all united we walked to the fair. We went for karaoke played some shooting games amd were even able to ride caterpillar and the ferris wheel. After this we took a tricycle back to Cat’s house and waited for my father and this marked the end of the filming of our project “Abucay”.

Internet was there for me when nobody was. At a young age my parents both left to go abroad I was left here in the Philippines with the care of my grandparents and my yaya. Up until now more than half of my life was spent without my parents. This is why the internet is a very vital aspect with my life. This was the only way of communicating with my parents. Years go by the internet was my way of receiving information, communicating and so much more.When the pandemic struck, I lost my friends because of an argument. The only place I could run towards was the internet. Discord, a place where I met awesome and fun communities. I met friends who has stuck with me till now. A place where every server us entirely unique from the other with different people, interests and hobbies. What could go wrong?Discord with its vast communities means that not everyone are good people. Discord is a breeding ground for people with questionable behavior. The people you talk to doesn’t always mean well so I needed to be wary of what information I give to others. Not disclosing personal things that may lead them to find where I am and who I am.There were also scams going around in discord. They send links acting as if it was nitro but if you press it it will link to a log in if you log in your account. Your account will be hacked and they will send the scam to all your friends. This taught me to not trust random links and to not reply with random dms.In servers you interact with people all throughout the world. You learn about different cultures, religions, and ideals; with this you need to learn to respect and accept others. The phrase “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” this is a quote you should always follow by. Remember that everyone is human and you should treat others with an equal ammount of respect.

Mapping is one of the most overlook and one of the nichest online platform. Mapping is derived from maps. This fact helps you gain an idea on what this is about. They help you find your directions to the destinatiion you want.

Social Media

Social Media is the main form of sharing and consuming content. This part of the internet is what makes it interactive. The content shown to you is catered to the data they’ve gathered about you. This algorithm makes it more personalize and befitting for you.

Web Page Creation

Web Page Creation is one of the most obscure type of online platform. Not everyone is able to utilize this information as you wouldn’t just wake up one day and find yourself wanting to make a website. But the components to make a website like colour, layout, graphical appearance so on and so forth are keys to make anything visually appealing. Getting better at each component is knowledge you can bring in other aspects. And who knows maybe one day you’ll be needed to make one.

Digital divide as its name suggests is the division of people in the digital world. Usually we point out the difference of privilege among the people. How some families can afford gadgets and internet —as at times even if you have a cellphone there is still a divide on the information you can get through your cellular device online and offline. We can also add the people who are computer illiterate.Digital divide can deeply impact education as online processes slowly replaces the norm. Information is the most affected area of digital divide as the people who are in the disadvantageous side can’t keep up. Normal task becoming more tedious and becoming seemingly impossible.There are no fixes for poverty but there are ways to lessen the burden. We cannot stop society progressing into a technological world. We need to help others conform to this new normal. Accesible devices and education, and more user friendly platforms will help society progress to this norm.

Informations Communications and Technology this subjects tackles innovation, safety and etiquette. How you can get information in a secure manner and how you can apply this information. It teaches you how to make your vision a reality. Most importantly it teaches you how to share your ideas to everyone who wants to listen.ICT is a platform of change. These past years more and more people post their opinion and more often than not people discuss. Resulting on a diverse range of viewpoints neither one wrong. But this past year people stand up for their cause. We usually see people voice out their opinion never fight for their opinion. And this is the most important change that has happened for us. People fight for others. I first saw this change at the Philippines Presidential Election, 2022. Regardless of who your candidate was you can hear the voices of the people. People voiced out their opinions in a way that I personally have never seen before. From progressive viewpoints to political affairs, we can see how one post can help with the progression of a movement.ICT made me come into terms that everyone has a voice so don’t forget to use yours. No matter how inconsequential it may seem. Your voice matters.
